What if today's children are embodying higher frequencies to uplift the world? Hint: they are. ;-)

I share my personal journey of navigating the challenges of an outdated educational model (from the 1950's when they were creating factory workers...time for a change!). And what we can do to shift this...examples being: emotional mastery & nature-based academic experiences.

This episode is a call to action for anyone passionate about revolutionizing the future of education. Let's connect on Instagram or email to continue this vital conversation and support our educators in creating a more supportive environment for future generations.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to Unveiled the podcast. I'm your host, angela Christian, and I help you with unveiling your true self by peeling away the layers that society placed on you. I do this with a combination of neuroscience, energetics and ancient spiritual wisdom. I went from underpaid and overworked in corporate America to launching a six-figure company that continues to grow. I went from toxic relationships to being happy and single for over a year as I worked and continue to work on becoming the best version of myself, and so much more. My greatest passion is to help women and mothers heal, transform and become the highest versions of themselves. Heal, transform and become the highest versions of themselves. As I continue to grow and expand my intuitive knowledge and unique wisdom, I'll be including you on my journey to millions, so let's get into it.

Speaker 2:

Hello and welcome back to Unveiled. So I wasn't sure what I was going to talk about this week. I thought I had written it in my notes on my phone but I realized that was the last podcast episode, so clearly I need to have a little bit more organization. But I have a funny story for you on how I decided the topic for this week. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me post about this before, but sometimes when I'm feeling stuck or I need some kind of direction, I will do my energetic work, connect in all of that. But then I'll ask my higher self to play a song on my phone from my Apple library. So these are songs I already have like in my library, which are a lot. I'll just tell her please, you know, show me a song right now that will inspire me. Or today I said please show me a song on a topic that I want to talk about. Today I had several different topics that I want. I already had like a couple of topics in mind, but I hadn't. Usually I would feel the day of like a really strong calling towards one of them and I felt like I could do either. So I just really wanted a nudge. The song that came up was Lil Wayne, and the album is called I Am Not a Human being, and the song is right above it, which features Drake. Very weird way, I know, to choose the podcast topic, but this made me laugh because it actually is very much in alignment with one of the ideas I had for today.

Speaker 2:

What I want to talk to you about today is the very real crisis that we are seeing and experiencing in schools, and this is not just public schools, this is also private schools, and this is from my direct experience and then from other mothers I've talked to as well. And even if you're not a parent, this still applies to you, because these children are our future leaders, right? So this is very much something we should all be thinking about, and especially because right now, if you're not aware, we are facing biblical times, and that is a different topic for a different day, but we're going to experience a lot of challenges, but then we have the opportunity to literally create heaven on earth. We're seeing so many people wake up to what's actually happening, to this very real spiritual warfare that's been happening in the background, being hidden by legacy media and by a lot of you know people in Hollywood, to be honest. So we're starting to see everything being exposed, which I love.

Speaker 2:

What hasn't had a lot of attention and at least from what I'm seeing, but should is, I say public school system, mostly because that would affect a lot of schools right, where private schools, they kind of have the ability to do things their own way. I've experienced it all with my kids public school, private school, homeschool, homeschool, hybrid. I've done it all, so I've seen the different ways that school can be done. Also, another thing to note is that there are more children with ADHD, asperger's, anything you would consider like a neurodivergent condition. There are more of those children now than ever. This is for several reasons. One, obviously there are more advanced tools to diagnose that, but what isn't talked about is that our planet's source desires to operate and vibrate at a much higher frequency. So, starting in 1980, 1980 and beyond, the souls that were incarnating at that time were actually were higher in frequency and they were a different type of human which goes along with the Drake song than other eras. That's not that they're better or worse, because they're just different. They're here and we're here. I'm one of those people born in 1980 or later. We're here to help raise the frequency of the world and if you're listening to this, then you are too. So I'm just going to talk a little bit about this from kind of a high level perspective and if this is a topic that interests you, please reach out on Instagram at Angela Marie Christian, or email me and I will dive into like this in a more granular level.

Speaker 2:

But for today I just kind of wanted to start the discussion about it and this isn't. Let me just be really clear. This is not like dissing anyone. This isn't dissing teachers. They're just simply following the structure that they were given right, and actually I've seen public school teachers who have tried to incorporate a higher consciousness into their classrooms. I don't even know that they are doing that intentionally, but for example, my son's teacher she uses the terms green light behavior or red light behavior.

Speaker 2:

If you know anything about me, I despise calling kids good and bad, because everybody inherently is good, like they were born good, they were born worthy, they were born enough. That's just how infants are born. I've had to do a lot of unprogramming and reprogramming around the whole good girl, bad girl thing and that's what creates a lot of people pleasing all of that. So I do not call my kids good or bad. If you want to know more about that, I can do a different podcast episode on how I speak to my kids. But I do like that the teacher isn't saying your behavior is bad. It's just either green light behavior, which means you know things are moving along, or red light behavior, kind of have to stop because things are getting a little chaotic, right.

Speaker 2:

And if I do catch like a family member telling my son like you're being bad, I always stop and I'm like no, he is good in his heart, he is just making choices because he either doesn't understand or he's having an emotional reaction. Those are really it Kids very rarely are they just like I'm going to, you know, run around the house or do this because I want to just create chaos? No, they're kids, right, and there's a lot more that I could go into there. They could be reflecting their parent, all of that. It can get really really deep. Also, emotional mastery is just the missing link in this society, in this world right now. Emotional mastery is just the missing link in this society, in this world right now, and emotional regulation would literally help teachers, would help the kids would help the parents. It's the foundation for learning and thriving. If we could teach kids emotional mastery skills at an early age, it would reduce the behavioral issues and it would actually improve the focus.

Speaker 2:

And so some of this would just be like taking the time at school. And, for one thing, my son is in a public school and I'm not really thrilled about the structure of it. Again, nothing about the teacher I think she's wonderful. It's just there's 22 kids stuffed into a room and these are TK kids, right. So next year my son will not be going to a public school, he'll be going somewhere where he can thrive, and I'll explain that in a minute. But if they started the day with mindfulness and I think some schools, like my daughter's school, they do have like a whole mindfulness approach to things, which I love, and it is a public school, but it's almost like, okay, here's the class, let's check it off and now move on to the next class Like it should be something we're incorporating into our day, right, teaching our kids to incorporate it into their day.

Speaker 2:

So, like for my son, I teach him like if you're feeling upset, what is something you can do to help yourself? And he'll say like I can take some deep breaths and he just turned five. So this is not just for older kids. I can take some deep breaths and he just turned five. So this is not just for older kids. I can take some deep breaths. And then I'll ask him, like at home, when I can tell he's getting angry, I'll say what's something you can do right now to release that emotion? And he'll say I can go punch my pillows Great, that does not encourage violence. It's a way to get the emotion out. There are so many people right now me included, I was one of them who you know were told as children to suppress our emotions, not to throw fits, get over it, all of those things, and like again, it's not our parents' fault, it's just the way they were taught, because nobody has been taught emotional intelligence and emotional mastery at a young age. But now we can. We can change that right. There's so much change happening in the world right now. This would be a really beneficial, positive change. So just teaching kids mindfulness, breathing exercises Another thing that I've talked about on here naming the emotions, not just the emotion, because most of the time and there's a lot of scientific fact and statistics I can give you, which I do inside my emotional mastery module that I'm teaching in both of my programs in clean bde and in my membership, and you're actually going to be able to purchase just the emotional mastery program soon.

Speaker 2:

So keep an eye out for that, or email me and say you want to be on the wait list for that. It's going to be at a low price point because I just really want to get this information out to people. So, majority of the time, humans are actually wrong when they're naming an emotion. So, for example, if someone let's say I'm waiting for someone to get back to me and it's someone I care about and they ignore me and they just like never get back to me, and it's someone I care about and they ignore me and they just like never get back to me.

Speaker 2:

If I were to name my emotion without emotional mastery, I might say that I'm angry, right, which would make sense. You're angry. This person isn't responding to you, isn't reaching out to you. But with my emotional mastery skills and my intuition I can look deeper and I know there's probably like five to seven emotions I'm feeling, if not more. So I'm angry, I'm hurt, I'm frustrated, I'm not feeling important, I'm feeling betrayed, I'm feeling unloved, on and on and on right. So in my emotional mastery program and you could get in right now into the membership for actually very low price I'm going to be bumping this price up because I can't even believe I've been offering it at such a low price. It's only $77 a month or you get a break if you purchase it for the year.

Speaker 2:

But what I'm teaching in there is first I have several steps and techniques to go through to like get yourself regulated quickly. Then it always comes back to us. So with this particular example, I actually walked outside. I love being around the trees and like talking things out, and so I went outside and I was like okay, I'm feeling confused, I'm feeling hurt, I'm feeling betrayed, I'm feeling blah, blah, blah. Then I go through and I say where am I feeling betrayed by myself? Where am I not putting myself first? Because, as I've said many times and as Ali says, and Alessandro, we are living in our own Truman Show. So literally, we're handing the script to people on how to treat us, based on how we treat ourselves, based on our thoughts, all of that right.

Speaker 2:

So we have to make the shift internally before people will treat us differently. So I go through the list and then I look at the eight areas of life which I've talked about before and I intuitively can see like, oh, for a while it was my physical area of life, I wasn't going to the gym, I was beating myself up about it, I was avoiding it, all of those things, and that was very much reflecting in different areas of life and it usually will be pop up. The reflection will pop up in the area you care about the most and at this time it's my vocation, my sole purpose, my business. Once you shift that internally and you start changing the way that you're treating yourself, it will shift how people treat you, because you know what the seconds I did, that person I've mentioned reached out to me after it had been five months of silence. Not only did they reach out to me after it had been five months of silence, not only did they reach out to me, they apologized, they explained all of that and that's not a coincidence. That's because I did the inner work to shift it.

Speaker 2:

So I used to think the power is in me, that I can change my behavior. Now I've learned that I can control my own behavior and I can actually control other people's behavior and so can you, because we are in our own Truman Show, right. But to do this you do need emotional mastery and then intuition is really helpful as well. In my emotional mastery program inside my membership right now, for the next 14 people who join, they're actually going to get a monthly one-on-one telegram check-in with me. I'm just kind of throwing that in there right now because I was doing group calls, but I really wanted to offer more one-on-one support. So it's like a 15-minute check-in over telegram and you can ask me like minute check-in over Telegram and you can ask me to check in intuitively for you. You can tell me something you're struggling with emotionally or whatever, or if you have a question about the emotional mastery tools and I can look into that for you. If you don't have intuition, I will also link my Telegram one-on-one coaching call. Right now I'm doing a special for 15 minutes. It's $88. So you could also utilize that.

Speaker 2:

So that's one piece of it is the emotional mastery is missing. It's the missing link in elementary schools and all schools. But like elementary schools is where they would learn. They would learn it and then it would become a habit and it wouldn't be something they'd even have to think about. It would just become as natural as like walking, especially when you do it at a young age, before age seven. It will just be programmed into them. So this is really, really key and I would love to create my own school, to be honest. So if anyone's listening and they have an interest in doing that, let's chat, because I would love to do that Also. Nature is really important for both learning and healing, right?

Speaker 2:

My son, who is diagnosed with ADHD, but until about the age seven they're actually here to help the parent, so he's reflecting a lot of my energy and so when I do my energy work on him and myself, I don't see any of his ADHD symptoms. But if he is having, like ADHD symptoms when I take him outside, it instantly calms him down and when he's been in environments where he can go outside freely, he hasn't had any issues. It's when he's stuck inside and if you look at public schools, they're not that much different than jail. Like these kids are stuck in school. They have to go eat this disgusting food in a cafeteria that smells weird, and on rainy days they stay inside and like that's when kids really need to be outside Right. So like that whole piece of it. That's what I really love about Waldorf school. So one of my children went to Waldorf and I loved that aspect of it is they're outside every day, rain or shine, like you have to pack rain gear for them. They cook, they do art. So my son, I really feel like, would be more aligned with a Waldorf type school because of that.

Speaker 2:

But like right now, he, you know, he acts out a little bit because he's stuck inside. He doesn't want to be stuck inside. He's extremely intelligent. Even his teacher is like. He is like the smartest kid in this class. He's so highly intelligent, it's like he's moving at a faster rate, you know, and a lot of kids are like that. A lot of kids are like that and they can behave I shouldn't say behave, but a lot of kids are like that and they're able to still, you know, listen to the teacher.

Speaker 2:

But he is curious. He'll challenge everybody with like well, why, well, why? And I don't think that's a bad thing, I think that's great. That's what has created some of the most innovative people in this world and I don't want to suffocate that in him. I want him to be curious, I want him to ask questions. So like, just think about how moving you know math to outside, that would help heal people, because the sunshine is actually super healing, right. And then learning in nature. It might be a little distracting at first but they would get used to it, right?

Speaker 2:

And that brings me to the next thing is when I didn't know what's happening with my son before I really understood the energetic, spiritual component of all of this, I took him to, you know, a few different doctors. I took him to the Amen Clinic, and what I really liked about the Amen Clinic is they try to stay away from medication because, like Ritalin and Adderall, it's basically just speed for kids, right. Then there's the other types that, like, make them super tired. I am not going to just medicate my kid to make the teacher's life easier. Sorry, not going to do that. So I follow what his doctor had recommended, which are very specific supplements, and they're all supplements that we already have but that he's not creating enough of in his brain, right. So to really help him and support him from a biological standpoint, I give him the supplements in the morning and the afternoon, and that helps him be able to regulate himself better, naturally. So if it were up to the teachers or old school doctors, though, we would just put them on Ritalin or Adderall.

Speaker 2:

And again, I'm not shaming anyone. I know that sometimes medication is something you have to do, and maybe you just do it temporarily while you figure out what's really going on underneath, because there's always an emotional, spiritual component underneath the behavior. Always, and most of the time, the actual medical condition is a lot less of the issue than the actual spiritual, emotional component. That's speaking from an intuitive perspective, and I can see it in him when I'm feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, beating myself up. I see it in his behavior. It's a reminder to me to regulate myself, and then he's fine.

Speaker 2:

And so all of this takes time, though, to learn and understand, but isn't that better than just medicating our brilliant children to make life easier for others? They're here for a reason and, again, I know that there's probably exceptions out there, but there's either a soul contract happening where their soul decided to like have that be part of their life and your life, or it's a creator field issue. That's our electromagnetic field that we have around us. We are electromagnetic beings. There's something in your field that's affecting them. If they're over age seven, then it could be their own creator field, like beliefs, thoughts, all of that. But if they're seven or younger, your creator field is affecting them. So, again, this is just like kind of a high level discussion and I'm happy to go deeper later, deeper later.

Speaker 2:

And so how do we change? How do we improve right, especially for people who can't afford to like homeschool or put their kid in a Waldorf school, where it's, you know, can be a little pricey? Meet up with other parents, meet up with other advocates for change who want to see this in schools and start having conversations with teachers or administrators and I know it's like it can feel like daunting and like will this even make a difference? But it will. If we want to see less violence in our schools, in our world, we need to integrate emotional education and more outdoor time for our children.

Speaker 2:

I remember, even for me and I'm not a super like what you would call an outdoorsy girl, but I do like being outside but in sixth grade I remember, even for me and I'm not a super like what you would call an outdoorsy girl, but I do like being outside but in sixth grade I remember it being really important to me. I had this one teacher and I'll never forget. I would ask him can I take my desk outside and work? And he would say yes, and it helped me focus, it helped me just like get my work done. And he knew that. And that's why he would say yes, because he knew I wasn't going out there to like goof around. But the majority of teachers would say no right. And so other kids would be like well, that's not fair, why is she outside? And he would say because she does her work. So then I kind of set an example and other kids started following, and not every kid was allowed to be outside like the boys, unfortunately when they're the ones who probably needed it the most.

Speaker 2:

But just think about how different it would be if schools were outside more instead of under fluorescent lights, if school cafeterias this is a huge topic I didn't even touch on, which is very, very key School cafeteria food. Oh my God. I reached out to my son's PTA and I was like to my son's PTA and I was like can we talk about some kind of organic food table situation for these kids? Because the cafeteria food is crap and like I have put on his school file in the cafeteria that he has a dairy allergy and they don't listen. They'd still feed him pizza. And they don't listen. They'd still feed him pizza.

Speaker 2:

I pack him a very, very well-balanced lunch with protein, all organic with protein, with fruits, with vegetables and carbs. I'm very intentional with what I send to school with him and his lunch and I do it to support his brain and to support the classroom behavior. And then I'll ask his teacher, like did he eat school lunch today? Because he didn't touch his lunch. I packed him and she's like well, I don't know, that's my lunch break. I'm like, ok, well, is there someone I can talk to?

Speaker 2:

And it's like I've tried to explain to them many times like dairy increases his ADHD behavior. That is in his medical file. He has a severe allergy to dairy. I like cheese, it's not like I'm against dairy. He has a severe reaction. And if he's eating cheese and then he comes into the classroom in the afternoon and he's acting wild like why wouldn't you work with me to make sure he's not eating cheese, right? And that's not even getting into all the kids who sadly ingest, like the foods with tons of sugar, with red food coloring, all the food coloring right, that has been shown to increase ADHD behavior and increase like a sugar rush behavior in all kids, right? So shifting the food we're feeding them like the food is what our body is using to create energy and to sustain us. Why would you feed a bunch of kids, a bunch of crap?

Speaker 2:

And then I pick him up from school and they hand out free snacks which I've told them. Please don't give him a snack. I'll pack him snacks. They probably think I'm like the most annoying parent. So I pack him very specific snacks for his brain and they're tasty. They're not like disgusting cardboard. Sure enough, I pull up and he is eating graham crackers and they're like full of sugar or goldfish which has dairy.

Speaker 2:

It's like, if you guys are going to complain about his behavior, at least work with me on making sure that his food choices are the best for him. Right, and I know it's not their fault People aren't educated on this kind of stuff and a lot of times they actually think like oh, that has nothing to do with it. Like one time I got a response from a teacher Like oh, I'm sure that dairy didn't do it. And it's like like I have known my son his whole life and dairy 100% increases his inability to focus. It increases his inability to sit still. And of course I work with him too, and his teacher came up with this great idea to to come up to her and say, hey, teacher, does teacher, does this have dairy in it? And then she can tell him yes or no until he can, you know, read the ingredients. I don't know that he's doing that all the time, but it was a great idea on her behalf. So, like there are teachers out there who are willing to, you know, work with you to an extent.

Speaker 2:

He was at a private school which I loved. I absolutely loved the school. It was a little bit too structured for him. Like in the mornings you had to walk in, you had to do worksheets before you could play. He would get there and he and you know some kids got there at before care, so they'd been there for a while, so they were all playing and they wouldn't let him get up and play until he did like all these worksheets and it was like, okay, he's four and he was even three. You know it's like, let them play, let them be kids. And then at nap time he didn't want to nap and I said, well, can't, can't some, can't? He just like go outside. Like what are the options, instead of trying to force every kid to be the same as the other kids? Like where are the options? Because I didn't even mention this in the beginning, which I meant to, but I've talked about this before on, definitely on Instagram.

Speaker 2:

But I mean, did you even know how the school system was set up? The history of the school system, like I could go way back, but the one that's the most important is the one that took place around the 1950s. The public school system adopted a very standardized, very industrial model of education to meet the needs of the industrial world we were living in at that time. We are no longer living at that time. We don't need to create a bunch of factory workers, so why the hell haven't we upgraded our school systems?

Speaker 2:

I think this is probably something in my soul. I'll have to look into it, but I'm pretty sure this is something in my soul path to help with, because I look at these poor kids and it's like a lot of them just want to be playing. They just want to be outside and that's important. It's important for their development, instead of stuffing a bunch of four and five-year-olds into a classroom for the majority of the day, like they should be outside for many reasons. So that's my TED Talk today, courtesy of Will Wayne and Drake.

Speaker 2:

I'll have to thank them later, but if this resonated with you and you feel like passionate about this too, please reach out to me, because I would love to connect with other not just parents, but anybody who feels strongly about this so that we could start, you know, a movement helping support the future leaders of our world. Right? So nothing's going to change if we don't change it, if there's not someone here saying this needs to change. Here's why nothing's going to happen. And I don't know about you, but I don't feel like our society right now.

Speaker 2:

Well, I know it's not because it's very low frequency, and I don't know. Know about you, but I don't want this generation of children to have to suffer, to have to go to therapy, to have to do all this unprogramming, reprogramming. I mean, I've spent the majority of my adulthood doing all of that because of the way things have been right. So, like, let's do better for them. As my mentor, andrea, would say transmission complete. So I'm sending love to you guys. Thank you for listening. If you made it this far, let me know your thoughts. Bye.
