Angela Christian Season 3 Episode 128

Send us a text

This episode kicks off 2025 with a heartfelt exploration of emotional balance, sharing personal stories that highlight its significance in protecting ourselves from negative energies and setting a positive example for our children.

I discuss how maintaining emotional balance is not only crucial for spiritual and physical health but also for breaking free from the grip of deep-seated fears. You'll hear about practical strategies that can help improve personal interactions and foster personal growth.

Imagine being able to respond thoughtfully, rather than react impulsively, even in the tensest situations. That's possible through techniques like the "superhero pause" and grounding yourself in the present moment, which are part of my personal toolkit for handling emotional triggers. I highlight the profound impact that emotional education can have on children, sharing how my own emotional state influences my son's behavior. By giving him my undivided attention, I've been able to nurture a more harmonious relationship, showcasing the ripple effect of emotional mastery on our personal lives and the broader community.

Spiritual sensitivity and personal energy aren't just abstract concepts; they're deeply intertwined with our emotional states. I dive into the necessity of energetic hygiene and self-awareness to shield against dark forces, sharing intuitive experiences that underscore these connections. By taking radical responsibility for our reactions, we can transform how others treat us. Through my programs and membership, I aim to provide listeners with the tools and guidance needed to master emotional and spiritual energies.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to Unveiled the podcast. I'm your host, angela Christian, and I help you with unveiling your true self by peeling away the layers that society placed on you. I do this with a combination of neuroscience, energetics and ancient spiritual wisdom. I went from underpaid and overworked in corporate America to launching a six-figure company that continues to grow. I went from toxic relationships to being happy and single for over a year as I worked and continue to work on becoming the best version of myself, and so much more. My greatest passion is to help women and mothers heal, transform and become the highest versions of themselves. Heal, transform and become the highest versions of themselves. As I continue to grow and expand my intuitive knowledge and unique wisdom, I'll be including you on my journey to millions, so let's get into it.

Speaker 2:

Hello, happy new year. Welcome back to Unveiled, the first podcast episode of 2025. Super excited to dive into this topic today. It's going to be all around emotional mastery and why that is so crucial in protecting yourself from what I would call dark energies, or sometimes they're referred to as dark forces. These will these affect everybody, not just, you know, people who believe or people who learn about it. They're like mosquitoes. They, you know, aren't super biased, although when you're a higher frequency, being the second, you take an interest in spirituality. You become like a bright light on a power grid, basically, and so then you can become somewhat of a target not to scare you. So let's dive in. So emotional mastery is crucial for so many reasons, and I'm going to give you three recent examples of how I used emotional mastery in my just like day-to-day life as a single mom running two companies, all the things. And so it's not just about not attracting dark energy, but it's also about being a good role model for your kids If you have kids, teaching them emotional mastery and just being able to go through life more balanced. And the more balanced you are emotionally, the healthier you are. Because, as I explained in the I think it was the last episode. We have seven layers of our aura. The first three are related to our physical body, so different parts of our physical body. The fourth layer is kind of an integration layer, and then the fifth, sixth and seventh layer are related to our energy body, right? So everything starts in the energetic, and, if it's not addressed, which can show up as like small signs, small imbalances, the closer it gets to our physical body, then it becomes sickness, disease issues, right? So it's not too late, though Even if you're noticing physical issues, you can definitely still balance it out, okay.

Speaker 2:

So first I'm going to start with a personal story that just happened last week. So my parents divorced when I was eight and then my mom moved about an hour away when I was 10. I loved both my parents. I wanted to spend time with both. I spent the majority of the time with my mom, but every other weekend I would go to my dad's, and so my sister and I would get in the car and we would drive this super windy road that's really high up in the mountains. Halfway we'd meet my dad there and then go the rest of the way. I can't recall conversations that were happening in the car ride, but I can guarantee that things were said that made me very anxious. My dad was a great dad, but I think my mom she has a great, my mom has a huge heart. Okay, she wouldn't do anything on purpose, but I do believe she was probably saying things about my dad or saying things about us going over there and it caused a lot of anxiety for me as a child and I would go to my dad's and I would have a stomach ache the entire time, like I'd have to carry around a hot water bottle thing on my stomach, literally like belted on, because my stomach would hurt. I just didn't understand. I also had a lot of dark force attacks, even as a child, and so really crazy things happened at my dad's because my defenses were down, because I was super anxious, all of the stuff, right, I mean there's crazy stories I could share about all of that. Anyway, that's not the point of today's episode.

Speaker 2:

The point is, even as an adult, I found it so hard to drive that road. It's the fastest way to get from my mom's town to my dad's town. It can take between 45 minutes and an hour. It made me so anxious that I would honestly and this is my sister too. It's not just me. My sister and I would both drive a different road, which would make it twice as long, and it was still windy and it was still up in the mountains. But we kept telling ourselves like, oh well, it's less dangerous. It was not. It's actually a more dangerous road if you look at the facts. But I just kind of like pushed it aside. I was like, whatever, it's a nice, beautiful coastal drive, the longer way Made up all these excuses and I knew logically, especially as the years went on, especially in the last like couple of years, I was like, logically, this makes zero sense and, honestly, and I don't want to go the long way, right, especially with young kids in the car.

Speaker 2:

So I was like I have to take care of this. So not too long ago I did force myself to drive it and I just drove very slow, talked to myself, like calm myself down. It still didn't address the anxiety of it, the underlying issue, right. So for Christmas I was going over to my dad's and I was like, okay, I'm getting to the bottom of this, like I'm not going to deal with this anymore. Because the thought did pop in like maybe I should just go the long way. So what I did? Because one of the things early on in my healing journey, back in 2000, I think it's 17. I always forget if it's 2017 or 18. Back in 2017 or 18, I was healing from severe black mold poisoning and I would have to sit in an infrared sauna for 45 minutes several times a week. It was dark in there. I've talked about this before.

Speaker 2:

I didn't want to like just scroll on my phone, so I started reprogramming old memories that were traumatic. I wasn't taught how to do this, I literally just like channeled it. And then what's interesting is I recently took an emotional mastery course with Alessandro Gianetti, who I talk about all the time, who I am such an admirer of his work he's amazing. So I took an emotional mastery program of his and what he shared with us in there was exactly what I had channeled years ago, and he even said it wasn't something he created. It's something he channeled from a prior civilization. It's really interesting all of this, but so it makes. It makes sense that I channeled it because it's just like information right in the collective.

Speaker 2:

But what I would do is I would go back to traumatic situations and I would actually just change what happened, like I didn't know what I was doing. I was just like something has to work right. I'd been going to therapy for over a decade and I still had these horrific, terrifying nightmares of like when I had been in a very physically abusive relationship, and they would pop up at 3 am, and then I'd be awake, and it was just. I knew it was enough, was enough, right, and so I started going back to each of those memories and changing them, and there's actually all this neuroscience behind it, which I talk a little bit about in my new program called Unbothered. If you're in my membership, though, you get access to all of those audios that are in Unbothered. So if you're in my membership, you're good. You can also purchase Unbothered separately. I'll share the link for both in the show notes.

Speaker 2:

So I started reprogramming my memories, and I was like, oh my gosh, like I finally started to feel relief from the anxiety, from the panic, from all of those memories. Right, there was still a little bit that I knew had to be cleared, and that's where the unconscious reprogramming and the nervous system regulation came in. But reprogramming the memories was a huge piece of it. So I was like okay, I was able to heal myself by reprogramming my memories in a very specific way for something super traumatic. I can do it with this like driving situation, which was just ridiculous, right? So what I did? Because our brain loves to see proof of things, it loves facts, all of that. So I showed my brain. It sounds funny, but I showed my brain like all these different times that I drove over mountains, that I drove on windy roads, like I've been to Tahoe several times, which is very, you know, high elevation, I've driven through the Malibu mountains several times, like I've never been anxious I do not get anxious driving Like I love driving. So I knew it was something like deeper, right.

Speaker 2:

So I started showing myself all of these memories and I paid attention to the facts when I was driving on that road. The fact was there are only three areas on the entire hour drive where, yeah, you can see, like, how high you're up and it's a little unnerving because if you fall off the mountain, you're going very far down, right. So I told myself there are three sections, like literally three curves, in the entire hour drive that are a little scary, right, for lack of a better word that are a little scary, right, for lack of a better word. And so I did it and, honestly, on the way back I totally forgot that. I was even anxious and it went by so quickly and I didn't even see the three areas that had stood out to me before.

Speaker 2:

Now I feel totally fine about it and this didn't require this is what I wanted to share with you guys is like it didn't require hours of journaling trying to figure out like what happened. What did my mom say, asking my parents what they said. No, I literally was just like I've had enough and I'm going to reprogram this memory and we can do that. It's really powerful and it literally takes about up to seven times.

Speaker 2:

If it's a really traumatic memory like the ones I did with my abusive relationship, I did over and over again because when it's something that deep, sometimes you do have to do it more than once. And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with journaling. It's honestly not like what I like to do. But you don't have to self-analyze Like you can just decide I've had enough and I'm just going to reprogram this memory so that I don't have to self-analyze. Like you can just decide I've had enough and I'm just going to reprogram this memory so that I don't have this issue anymore, and it's not emotionally bypassing, because you're actually changing the memory. So it's a really powerful thing if you're just like over it, like I'm a busy woman, I'm a single mom, I have two companies I'm running. I just want to heal in the most efficient way possible. That's going to last and that's what I've been able to hack, basically, and that's what I've been able to hack for myself and then for my clients too.

Speaker 2:

However, there will be times where you do need to process your emotions and and that's what I'm going to get into next. So the other example is and this is also something I teach in Unbothered, which is also my membership, as I mentioned, there's also a protocol that I do when, all of a sudden, I realize like I'm really annoyed or I'm really irritated. So I'll go back and I'm not going to share all the steps here, but in my program I do so. As an example, the other day I noticed I was being really irritable, which is unlike me. Honestly, since I've, you know, learned and implemented all of this, I'll go a long time without having any kind of like anger or or any kind of emotional reaction. So I was like, okay, I need some time by myself to like kind of break this down.

Speaker 2:

So I had a family member watch my child and I just went on a drive and I was like, okay, when did I notice my mood flip? Because I woke up in a good mood, everything was fine and I just went through the day until I noticed the flip. So I noticed the flip was around this conversation. That brought a little bit of anxiety for me for something in the past, so I can see things from a very like outside perspective, even about myself. So I kind of look at it as if I'm analyzing a client, right. So I'm like, okay, that makes sense. That conversation triggered this feeling. Then I just went through like, ok, why is this all perfect? Right? So the true definition of unconditional love is finding equal amounts of positives and negatives in everything. That's how Source loves, right, that is unconditional love.

Speaker 2:

So I went through this whole protocol where once you figure out, like, where it flipped and you don't always have to figure out where it flipped, but it's helpful if you can because then what I could do is look at that situation and I drilled down by asking a ton of why? Questions why did that trigger me? Why is that a big deal? What can I do about it? I created this whole superhero pause protocol for my son that I think I've talked about on here, where I use it on myself. Honestly, it's just about taking a superhero pause you can call it whatever you'd like and asking yourself what am I feeling? Labeling the emotions, because there's always more than one emotion why am I feeling like this? What can I do about it? So typically, there's either an action to take or there's an imbalance to address, so it's one of those things I knew. In this case it was. It was both. It can be both. So the action to address was preparing for this meeting that's coming up that was causing me a little bit of this anxiety and irritation, and the other piece of it was looking at this meeting that's coming up as perfect right. So, after I took just a little bit of time by myself to like go through this, uh, I was fine.

Speaker 2:

A third example is today I received an email from this woman I've talked about before, who I thought was finally like out of my life, but she did something that I found to be super unprofessional, and my immediate response was to react I could feel the blood draining from my brain, which is what happens when you are about to react, and I immediately calmed myself down. I have step-by-step process for this too. But just to like make it simple here, what I did was immediately I bring myself back to my senses, my five senses. So I noticed like okay, I'm sitting on a chair, I'm supported. My son was wanting my attention. I was just like you know what? I'll be right with you, honey.

Speaker 2:

I took some deep breaths and at first I started to write a response that I would not have been happy writing in retrospect, right? So I just took another breath, I erased it and I just toned it down, and what I do is I act like anybody might see this email, right? So if somebody sees this email, will it be in alignment with my values? That's a great way to think about how you know if you're in situations where you're dealing with people, there might be conflict. I always like to think like okay, if an outside person saw this, would I be sticking to my values? Because if not, then it just means I'm out of balance and I need to address that before I respond. Right? So I was able to create a response that I was happy with.

Speaker 2:

I also a trick that I've shared before, but in case you're new to the podcast, welcome is if you feel yourself starting to react, notice immediately. Like, keep your eyes straight ahead, but just notice what you can see in your peripheral vision on the right, on the left. That zooms you back out, because when we get triggered, we go into fight or flight and our vision becomes narrow, and that's a really good sign that you're not in the best place to respond with logic and wisdom and all of that right. So that's a really good example as well. And here's the thing that our world needs change right now. It really does Like. If you just look at the news, it's just crazy. Like I don't even like going on Facebook anymore because everybody's just complaining, they're blaming people, there's violence and it's like emotional mastery would literally change the world.

Speaker 2:

I teach this to my kids. I even like role play with my son. So on the way to school yesterday I had him pretend like he was the teacher and I was the kid, and so I was acting out different scenarios. Like you know, I was crying and then he asked me what are you feeling? And I said oh, I'm sad because my friend took my toy. He said what can you do about it? I can tell the teacher Like we just went through all of these and he had an amazing day at school. So the last thing I'll share is that if you have a child who is about six or under, they are 100% a reflection of you, which can be a really hard idea to swallow, because if you have a hyperactive child like I do, he's actually not hyperactive, he is just reflecting my emotional imbalances. So he's actually so wise and all kids are that are six and under, because they're actually here to help us. There are little teachers and when we get frustrated with them, it does not help. That's where emotional mastery comes in, because the more that you get out of balance, the more that the child is going to reflect that as well in their behavior.

Speaker 2:

And I had a soul analysis read done by Alessandro, where he looked into me and my son and told me like your son needs 37 minutes of your undivided attention, like every day, like at a minimum right. So during those 37 minutes, just ask him like what do you want to do right now? And just give him your full attention. And then he said within 14 days you're going to notice a huge difference. Now that 37 minutes is different for every child, it is something I could look in intuitively like for my clients. Some one child might need 20 minutes, one might need an hour, but 37 minutes is not that long, right, like I can definitely give him. I feel like I give him a lot more, but usually here's the thing is like usually it's like I'm checking my email, then I'm like playing with him, then I'm checking my email, and it needs to be a solid 37 minutes without my phone, without anything, right.

Speaker 2:

And so when he's having what I would call like a fit and he's being defiant or he's kicking me or saying no, like I really have to take a breath and just calm myself. And I know the first thing I say is like I created this, this is me. That's really hard for parents to do when they're getting kicked. You could ask my sister. She has seen me like holding him while he's punching me and I'm just carrying on a conversation. Now some people well, I would say most people wouldn't understand what's happening. They're going to look at me and think like I'm not being a strict enough parent. Well, that's not going to help. I know that. So I'm not interested in getting into a conversation with someone who might not understand at that energetic spiritual level, but I know right. So when he's acting like that, I know it's something within me.

Speaker 2:

And what Alessandro told me as well is that on a level of zero to 100 of like being hard on myself, I'm at a 98, which is really really high. I was a little shocked at first when I heard that because I was like wait what? But then it was in three areas of life. And so this is what I do with my members is each month you get a check in with me and if you're feeling out of balance, if you're having some kind of physical issue, whatever, I look in and I tell you which area of life is out of balance and it's often not in the one that you're having the issue in. So for me, he said, the reason that my son acts like this sometimes is because I'm being so hard on myself. He's showing me that by also being hard on me, and we weren't taught these things right. So he told me it was in my areas of financial like being really hard on myself for making certain financial decisions which he said I picked up on from my mother at age 16. Totally checks out, absolutely true. So now I can be more aware and I am, and I'll notice, I'll be all.

Speaker 2:

A thought will pop up and be like I shouldn't have wasted that money on that. A thought will pop up and be like I shouldn't have wasted that money on that, I shouldn't have done that. And so now I'm like no, no, no, everything is perfect, everything happened for a reason. And then I just look at all the ways it's perfect, all the equal ways. It's positive and negative, right. And instead I'm using a very specific tool to reprogram that. I'm a financial genius and I have tons of proof of that. I make great financial decisions most of the time. It's just all about repetition really changing a belief. It's all about repetition. You can also get around it by reprogramming memories. That works really well too.

Speaker 2:

But with this, trying to wire in a completely new way of looking at myself as a financial genius, which I am I'm a CFO of multimillion dollar companies, right? So of course I'm a financial genius, but I picked this up from my mom, which we do. We pick up our beliefs from our parents and it's not serving me, and so I'm changing it. So that's one area of life I was out of balance. The other area was social the way that people perceive me, and I have noticed that like I am not super vulnerable Well, I shouldn't say that I am pretty vulnerable on social media, but not with like day-to-day things, like you wouldn't know what happened unless you're listening to my podcast and you just listen to this, but like I'm very vulnerable about the things that happened in the past, but not so much like on a daily basis. And so I do want to work on being more vulnerable and just not caring really what people think, because the key to being totally rooted is you versus the world, you being able to stand here and be completely rooted to yourself and your beliefs, even if the entire world was saying you're wrong, that's not true. All of that right, and you could just sit there and know that it's true.

Speaker 2:

So the third area of life was physical, and so that's like being hard on myself for the actions I'm taking and for working out and all of that which I do. If I miss like I haven't gone to the gym since before Christmas up, like you should go to the gym. You should go to the gym like blah, blah, blah, right. So those are the kinds of thoughts, when they're repeated over and over again about yourself, that can create major imbalances in you, and then your kids can reflect that when they're six or younger. All of this is just like so powerful to know, because knowledge, it truly is power. And so I'll just wrap up by saying when, when our emotions drop and I had a conversation with one of my clients this morning about this she's been experiencing like a lot of dark force issues and, in case you don't know, I have trained in dark forces with Ali Ninfo and Alessandro for almost a year now, and so she told me she's been experiencing a lot of dark force attacks, and for people who don't understand dark forces, that can just look like a lot of headaches, indigestion, it can look like feeling all over the place like wired.

Speaker 2:

It can be just things that we're told are normal, which actually aren't, and there can also be like actual things that happen, like when my daughter was visiting from college for Christmas. She stayed down in a bedroom and bathroom that's not used a lot, but it has like a lock on the bedroom door, and then in the bedroom there's a bathroom right, so it's very contained while she was down there and she is extremely gifted, like intuitively, spiritually, but she's shut off everything, like she has no interest in pursuing that right now. Hopefully she will at some point. But anyway, she woke up at 4 am and I heard the water turn on. So I know it turned on at that time because it woke me up. I was upstairs but there's like this water pump sound that can be kind of loud sometimes, especially because nobody ever is down there. So it kind of woke me up. She came up like at noon and I was like why you slept in really late? And she was like, yeah, I woke up at four to the sound of running water and she went into the bathroom and both handles had been turned in and the water was on and she was like it was complete silence, like I fell asleep, the water was not on. I woke up and it was turned on. You know things like that can happen as well. So there's two extremes, right, like headaches, to actually things like that happening.

Speaker 2:

The more that you're interested in spirituality, all of that, the more that you are going to have dark force issues. So my client reached out and said that she was having a lot of dark force attacks. The first thing I always say is like I teach very specific clearings. In my membership there's a full section that we did in December on energetic hygiene, and then I have a program called Light it Up where I go through different dark force clearings and then I actually do a check-in with you to make sure after every clearing that you're clear so that you understand how to clear yourself. And so she's in both programs my membership and Light it Up, and so my membership.

Speaker 2:

Each month you can check in with me and I can look intuitively in for you on whatever it is. Check in with me and I can look intuitively in for you on whatever it is right. So I told her like let's look at the emotional imbalances during your check-in, because the second you drop your guard it can open up like a tunnel to your energy. And that can be as simple as someone like her coming to me and telling me this. I had to first put up like a protection and the intention that I wouldn't drop my protection, because when you feel sympathetic for someone, even if you have like a protection up, it will drop. And so you have to just be on guard and be intentional about your own protection, and then also understanding that the more you're emotionally out of balance, the more that they can basically mess you out. So, not to scare you again, knowledge is power.

Speaker 2:

But I noticed the other day, when I was driving and I was feeling really irritated, I did have some dark force, energy that I had to clear because I dropped my defense right. I became irritated, I became anxious. It triggered this memory of something right. I became irritated, I became anxious. It triggered this memory of something else. Then I became vulnerable. So I know how to fix it, but not everybody does. So I just wanted to share this today because I wish I had known all of this sooner. To be honest, and you don't have to suffer. That's the thing is.

Speaker 2:

Like I see so many people complaining, like on Facebook, like I mentioned, and I and I's the thing is like I see so many people complaining, like on Facebook, like I mentioned, and I and I just want to say like it doesn't have to be that way, like everybody is reflecting. This is the last thing I'll say before I wrap up this episode. But if someone's pissing you off, you gave them the script to act that way and this was really hard for me to understand and accept for a long time because it takes total, radical responsibility. But, for example, I'll notice a pattern. So if someone does something to me that annoys me, then someone else does a similar thing, or not even a similar thing, but makes me feel the same way.

Speaker 2:

I know it's me, I know I'm the issue and I'm like, okay, what am I? First of all, how do I feel like they're being? Because it's me, I know I'm the issue and I'm like, okay, what am I? First of all, how do I feel like they're being? Because that's what matters. I feel like they are not respecting my privacy, not respecting my boundaries, whatever it might be. Then it keeps getting louder until I look at myself and I'm like, okay, where am I not respecting my own boundaries? Right, and a lot of us have problems with boundaries and all of that. And then when I shift it within myself, it will shift the way people treat me as well.

Speaker 2:

And so all of this takes radical responsibility, some patience with yourself, obviously, and the ability to kind of just like look at what's happening from a very grounded space. To get grounded, we need these tools, right the emotional mastery tools, the spiritual, energetic information, all of that. But it is possible because I used to be extremely reactionary, like the old me would have like fired off of back a response to that woman I mentioned that I would have regretted. So again I will share the link to the three courses where this would really help you a lot my membership. You get access to just about every master class I release. So, for example, january it's all about beauty from the inside out. So I'm going to be talking about, like, what causes gray hair, losing hair, all of that. And then my members can actually reach out to me and say, like here's the issue I've been experiencing. I can look in and tell them where the imbalance is. So the membership is great for that.

Speaker 2:

So you'll get access to each topic every month and a one-on-one check-in with me on telegram, which is just an app if you don't know, like, where we can message voice note or text and then light it up is all about energy protection, energy clearing.

Speaker 2:

And again, you do get a one-on-one with me before and after each clearing. First I tell you what I see on you, then I tell you if you're clear, and then finally, unbothered is my emotional mastery program. If you're a parent and you just want all of it, then Clean BDE is definitely going to be your answer, because when you pay for Clean BDE in full, you actually get free access to light it up. So that is honestly like the best way to go if you're a parent and you're dealing with all of this. But again, just reach out to me and we'll chat, and so my goal is to help parents, to help children, to help everybody become masters of their emotions, because it's literally the key to the life that you're wanting and it's the key to preventing so much violence in this world, and we just really need this. So, anyway, I hope your new year has been off to a great start and looking forward to seeing you in all the places, sending you love, bye.
